Airport Aviation Services (AAS), is the oldest continuously operating Fixed Base Operator (FBO) and General Aviation Facility (GAF) at the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport with almost half a century serving the commercial airline and general aviation industry, and a “Who’s Who” list of local and international private, and corporate aviation clients. To deal with increasing demand and to stay ahead of their competition, they recently embarked on a project to expand and considerably upgrade their facilities. MGA has been commissioned to provide the planning and A&E design services for all of the updates and improvements to achieve a state of the art GAF including a new CBP inspection facility in full compliance and adherence to CBP standards & guidelines, along with a modern 11,000 SF storage hangar to complement its 79,000 SF ramp with parking for 16 aircraft.
