Puerto Rico is expected to experience continued growth in tourism over the coming years, yet the existing terminal facility in Aguadilla remains outdated and limited in capacity. In response, MGA Consultants, LLC conducted a comprehensive study to evaluate the feasibility of expanding the airport’s operations southward. The study explored how underutilized land within the airport grounds could support a new, scalable terminal concept—one capable of accommodating future demand while remaining appropriately sized for the airport’s current lower flight volume.
