Comolapa International Airport
Through a grant from the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), provided to CEPA, a feasibility study was commissioned to develop the guidelines and specifications for passenger terminal improvement at El Salvador’s principal airport and the third busiest airport in Central America. The primary goal of the study was to provide recommendations for improving and expanding the passenger terminal facilities to accommodate air traffic demand projections. The study also covered improvements to other airport facilities, air control services, aircraft rescue and firefighting capabilities.
