Cyril E. King International Airport - St. Thomas, USVI

| Completed 1990 |

The footprint for this 250,000 square foot passenger terminal building was partially determined by a set of obsolete previous planning decisions and by existing excavation work for its cisterns. MGA's objective was to maximize these efforts and provide the client with an efficient terminal structure featuring a large and naturally ventilated ticketing lobby, air conditioned holdrooms, Federal Inspection Services facility and planned concession areas, reminiscent of the down Island ambiance, while complying with strict budgetary restrictions. The design allows for future expansion and second level jet bridge boarding of aircraft.
