Two principal interventions create approximately 47,000 SF of new real estate. Of this newly created space, approximately 20,000 SF was to be used by the PRPA to expand their leasable inventory and relocate existing concessions to expand de AA ticket lobby which was seriously impacted by the deployment of the TSA screening equipment after 9/11. The additional 27,000 SF were used to improve circulation at the departure level and towards a better arrivals experience at baggage claim.
